Softwares Used: Zbrush (sculpture); Maya (torso topology, accessories modeling, UVs and Arnold render); Substance Painter (textures); Substance Designer (some procedurals and alphas for skin pores and skin texture)
This is a portrait that I’ve made to level my skills up.
I wanted to dive in Xgen grooming, Arnold rendering, skin detailing in Zbrush, and skin texturing in Substance Painter, besides general practice and enhancing my observation.
It started as a likeness project of the figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, but as the project developed I became more focused in the learning proccess of texturing, grooming and rendering than on the likeness itself.
